Everything else is on a computer screen, but hey, that is practically a TV yeah? Anyway, this is what I have been into lately.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana\">\n<p style=\"color:grey\">=== FINISHED ===<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana\">\n<p style=\"color:grey\">A friend recommended <i><a href = \"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Inside_Job_(2021_TV_series)\">Inside Job<\/a><\/i>, which is a good thing because it really was not on my radar. I watched it pretty quickly, not paying attention to how few episodes there were and it abruptly ended on me last week. Thoroughly enjoyable look at how conspiracy theories really work. It was also nice to hear the voice of the always wonderful <a href = \"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lizzy_Caplan\">Lizzy Caplan<\/a> again. She also stared in season 2 of <i><a href = \"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Castle_Rock_(TV_series)\">Castle Rock<\/a><\/i> which I also recently finished off. I did not realize that the two seasons were (almost) completely separate story lines. But <i>Castle Rock<\/i> hit me in my happy, horror, mystic, <a href = \"https:\/\/stephenking.com\/\">Stephen King<\/a> happy place. <b>Please make more!<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana\">\n<p style=\"color:grey\">Speaking of happy mystic shows, I watched <i><a href = \"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Outer_Range\">Outer Range<\/a><\/i> a few weeks ago. <a href = \"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Josh_Brolin\">Josh Brolin<\/a> is great and this was another enjoyable take on small town, family politics wrapped in a magic mystery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana\">\n<p style=\"color:grey\">=== WATCHING ===<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana\">\n<p style=\"color:grey\">A coworker recommended <i><a href = \"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hacks_(TV_series)\">Hacks<\/a><\/i> to me. I went into it warily and was greatly surprised. I usually wait until a season (or series) is completely done before I watch but the third season of <i>Hacks<\/i> started and I just couldn&#8217;t wait, it is so much fun. Less fun but in the same &#8220;I can&#8217;t wait&#8221; category is <i><a href = \"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Barry_(TV_series)\">Barry<\/a><\/i>. I don&#8217;t have a lot to write about <i>Barry<\/i>, I can&#8217;t say it is my favorite show, it is a weird juxtaposition of &#8220;nice guy actor is also an assassin&#8221;, which should be a win, and it generally is which is what keeps me watching.<\/p>\n<p>\n<a href = \"http:\/\/blog.nightmare.org\/pics\/obi-wan-kenobi-Digital-Key-Art-Teaser-1-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.nightmare.org\/pics\/obi-wan-kenobi-Digital-Key-Art-Teaser-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"240\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana\">\n<p style=\"color:grey\">I really don&#8217;t want to be that guy, but I&#8217;m going to go ahead and be that guy. I watched the first two episodes of <i><a href = \"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Obi-Wan_Kenobi_(TV_series)\">Obi-Wan Kenobi<\/a><\/i> and I do not like it. I was not a huge fan of <i>The Book of Boba Fett<\/i> either, but I did like <i>The Mandalorian<\/i>. So, the theme for me for <i>Star Wars<\/i> shows is probably: new characters, new stories, stop messing with the old characters (see <i>Rogue One<\/i> the best of all the current <i>Star Wars<\/i> movies). Anyway, I don&#8217;t like what they did with the character of Obi-Wan; the antagonists are, to a person bad actors with terrible dialogue; and some of the cinematography is suspect as well. I will watch it all at some point but have been disappointed with the last two <i>Star Wars<\/i> live action shows.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana\">\n<p style=\"color:grey\"><a href = \"http:\/\/blog.nightmare.org\/pics\/MV5BMjEzNjI5Njg4MV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwMjkwMjU2MzI@._V1_.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.nightmare.org\/pics\/MV5BMjEzNjI5Njg4MV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwMjkwMjU2MzI@._V1_.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"240\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana\">\n<p style=\"color:grey\">Lastly, I am about halfway through the first season of <i><a href = \"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Exorcist_(TV_series)\">The Exorcist<\/a><\/i> television series and it is hitting all the happy horror spots for me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana\">\n<p style=\"color:grey\">=== WAITING ===<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana\">\n<p style=\"color:grey\">And finally, on my list of things to watch but I am waiting for season\/series finales, or just time to watch them: <i>True Detective<\/i>, <i>Better call Saul<\/i>, <i>Stranger Things<\/i>, <i>Picard<\/i>, and <i>Orville: New Horizons<\/i>. We started <i>Ozark<\/i> before but stopped at some point.
